Wachuma is a cactus (Trichocereus Pachanoi) native to the Andes, traditionally used for healing, magic and divination. It has been a part of Peruvian tradition for thousands of years, used by priests and medicine men for religious and spiritual ceremony. Also known as San Pedro, the master plant contains a number of alkaloids- including mescaline, a entheogen that brings the expansionary visions most commonly associated with journeying. Though rather than travelling through psychedelic realms, one is brought to the basic, primordial state of consciousness, beyond the material, space and time to the true, present nature of the mind.

Wachuma is a great teacher of the subtle dimensions of Earth reality, showing us ‘beyond the veil’ and what is normally invisible to the naked eye.
